This graceful pump with distinctive heel is inspired by an age-old Jewish tradition of tearing garments during times of mourning and grief. The graphic, jagged cuts symbolize the sorrow experienced in moments of loss. This ancient act of tearing leaves behind a universally recognizable visual language that is instinctively understood. When everything is stripped away, only the bare essence remains, as seen through the delicate brown straps.
